I love it...they should make a book, instead of having a book of Bunny Suicides (very funny) they should do a book of Strand Suicides...all the different ways Strand employees can commit suicide...
Or a boardgame called simply "Strand", where you go on a rampage with the weapon of your choice.
You see, the fatal flaw in "Clue" is it that the whole conceit of the game is that you are solving crimes instead of perpetrating them. In "Strand", you are encouraged to bludgeon everyone you come across with, say, a candlestick, i.e.:
Instead of muttering, "I accuse Mrs. White in the Conservatory with the rope"-- which is quite lame-- you shout, "Holy shit! I just totally fucked up that hobo with a lead pipe! What's that, [Manager]? You want me to unpack that box? How about I just unpack your brain with this giant fucking wrench!"
There's been a theorhetical Strand board game for years. Ask Zartman or Rich about it. It revolves around gaining and losing self esteem and homicidal rage points. At the end of the game the person with the least self esteem left over becomes a manager. We've also come up with several other games involving hiding and shooting poison darts at customers or drugging people and leaving them on 10 in the dark. But I like yours too.
